Company Description

NIQ is the world's leading consumer intelligence company, with the most complete view of consumer buying behavior across more than 90 countries. We are building a new kind of team inside NIQ: small forward-deployed teams that embed with the world's largest consumer and retail enterprises and build AI-powered decision applications on NIQ data joined with the client's own — working software in weeks, measured on the client's business results.

Job Description

About the role

Every deployment pairs builders with an architect of the problem itself. The AI Deployment Architect is the problem-finder and relationship owner: the person who makes sure we understand the client's business better than they expect — and that what we build becomes how they actually work. You are typically not a software engineer. You are a domain insider who understands how large organizations really behave, embedded with one client, working shoulder-to-shoulder with engineers and data scientists.

What you'll do

• Embed with client teams to find the highest-leverage problems — the recurring decisions where better data changes the outcome this quarter

• Map how work actually gets done: who decides, who blocks, which workflow has been quietly broken for years

• Translate business reality into requirements engineers can build against, and keep scope honest against the metric that matters

• Own adoption and change management on the ground — onboard users, remove friction, turn skeptics into references

• Act as the client bridge: run working sessions, manage expectations, and surface the next opportunity while the current one is live

Qualifications

What we're looking for

• 4+ years in roles close to how commercial organizations run — consulting, category or revenue growth management, insights, customer success, or solutions delivery

• Domain grounding in CPG, retail, or consumer/commercial data

• A track record of getting busy operators to change how they work

• A structured communicator who turns messy conversations into crisp requirements and decisions

• Comfortable in ambiguity, on client site, and in the room where decisions get made

Nice to have

• Experience on forward-deployed or embedded teams, or in early-stage products finding product-market fit

• Familiarity with NIQ/GfK data or retail measuremen

Additional Information

Why this role

You will be on the founding team of a new motion inside a global company — with the autonomy of a startup and the data assets of a market leader. Success is measured on client outcomes, not deliverables, and this role is a direct path to leadership as the deployment portfolio grows

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $110,000 - $160,000.  Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus. Other benefits include flexible working environment, comprehensive health insurance, industry-leading parental leave, life insurance, education support and more

Our Benefits

  • Flexible working environment
  • Volunteer time off
  • LinkedIn Learning
  • Employee-Assistance-Program (EAP)
