Responsibilities- Monitor the performance of the forecast models and make the necessary remediations (if necessary).
- Lead the work on building new forecast models or improving on existing models based on the requirements of the business.
- Represent the Business Forecasting (BF) team as the Technical POC for all BF enablement initiatives.
- Research and development of Machine Learning solutions and applications of AI for Business Forecasting to help address certain business requirements.
- At least 1-2 Years experience in an equivalent or functionally similar data role.
- An undergraduate degree preferably in Statistics, Computer Science, Physical Science, Economics, or a related technical field. A graduate degree is a plus but is not required.
- A strong and demonstrable understanding of SQL and Python or R for advanced analysis.
- A strong and demonstrable understanding of machine learning with big data. Expertise in one or more areas among recommender systems, forecasting, NLP, network science, and reinforcement learning is a big plus.
- Familiarity with data cloud services surrounding analytical and automation functions.
- Familiarity with version control software such as git.
- A talent for research and the presentation of interpretable insight.
- Can confidently engage with business partners (Marketing, CDA) to understand business requirements and translate the needs to technical literature
