Position Title: FOH Manager (Night)
Overview:
As a FOH supervisor, you will oversee the front of house staff at Gentle Ben’s. The duties for this position include running the restaurant and addressing problems and fixes as they arise. You will coach and mentor staff that is not meeting standards and advise the GM of staff that aren’t taking to coaching. You will also address customer complaints or inquiries in a quick, kind manner.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: You will be responsible for closing the restaurant, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Staff Development: You will train and mentor new team members, assigning duties and providing guidance to ensure they meet our standards of excellence.
- Customer Service: Addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints promptly and professionally is paramount. Ensuring that every guest leaves satisfied is of top priority.
- Compliance: You will ensure that the restaurant adheres to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for both customers and staff.
- Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels and notifying the General Manager to replenish supplies as necessary to avoid disruptions to service.
- Financial Accountability: Maintaining cash drawer accuracy and implementing measures to minimize costs while maximizing profitability.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in restaurant management is preferred, demonstrating your ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Certifications: Possession of Managerial Food Handler & Title IV certifications is required.
- Flexibility: You must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, accommodating the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership qualities are essential, as you will be responsible for motivating and inspiring your team to deliver exceptional service.
- Conflict Resolution: The ability to handle conflicts professionally and impartially, maintaining a positive work environment even in challenging situations.
- Financial Acumen: Basic accounting and arithmetic skills are necessary for managing cash transactions and monitoring financial performance.
Compensation
- Salary Rate: $50-$60K DOE
- Paid Time Off: Two weeks of paid time off, including one week of sick leave and one week of personal time.
- Benefits: Eligibility for 401k enrollment after one year of employment (with a minimum of 1000 hours worked)

Skills Required
- Minimum of 1 year restaurant management experience
- Managerial Food Handler certification
- Title IV certification
