Flexo Solutions Specialist, SEA

Focus on guiding on-site print trial and Flexo process review, advice customers in their digital transformation journey and define sustainable process and quality control solutions as well as supporting customers on site with complex printing issues. Additionally, you will occasionally deploy color and Flexo solutions at customers around the Southeast Asia region / world...

Main responsibilities and key activities:

• Facilitate Color and Print solution deployment to improve print quality at Esko customers.
• Support customers by solving of complex printing issues related to plate making, screening or other processing steps around printing
• Excellent listening skills and ability to understand and interpret customer needs or problems and manage customer expectations.
• Able to communicate outcome and add-value in an appealing presentation or report to Customer, sales and/or pre-sales.

• Collaborate with the multiple peers to support other Color and Print specialist and the local/regional teams

• Technically well-grounded with a hands-on mentality to build processes using Esko standard software tools

Your Education and/or Background Experience will have:

• Operational knowledge of the packaging industry processes
• Platemaking & printing process for Flexo. Any other printing process skills is a plus.
• Expert knowledge in prepress, print quality
• Good market understanding: Labels, Folding Carton, Corrugated, Flexible Packaging.
• Strong client consulting and relationship building skills. Ability to interact with senior level.

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Additional Southeast Asian language(s) will be a plus.

• Experience in Esko hardware (CDI, XPS) or software (Automation Engine, Imaging Engine, Screen) along with experience in Packaging is considered a plus.
• Position based out of Singapore / Malaysia / Thailand / Indonesia / Philippines / Vietnam. Travel required up to 65% of the time.
