Job Description:
As a Finish Work Technician you are responsible to fix multiple types of slab defects that don’t adhere to the Cambria standard guidelines. This position is also responsible for maintaining the work flow of the Finish Work Stations as well as assuring that completed finish work adheres to the quality standards laid out by the Quality Control Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Keep work area clean and orderly

Perform job duties safely as outlined in the (insert department name here) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Additional duties as assigned by management

Complete (7) weeks of QA Finish Department Training
-
Operating a forklift
-
Operating a crane
-
Slab Handling certified
Qualifications and Skills:
-
Ability to become certified in forklift and overhead crane operation
-
Ability to read and write in English to complete required documentation
-
Basic computer skills
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:

Physical Requirements:

Lift up to 50 lbs.

Push/pull 100 lbs.

Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 8 +hours, with intermittent breaks

Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises

Work in a non-climate controlled environment

Occasionally work in wet and/or humid conditions

Climb in and out of a forklift multiple times throughout shift

Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift

Bend over multiple times throughout shift
