JOB TITLE: Finish Supervisor
SUMMARY
Responsible for providing direction to team members of a production unit, that will promote the accomplishment of the production unit goals in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and coach team members on proper production processes and standards.
• Ensure that all safety procedures and policies are followed
• Organize work flow by assigning and directing responsibilities and alternative methods
• Identify issues of in-efficiency and suggest improvements
• Provide hands-on support and training
• Clearly communicate job expectations to team members
• Enforce policies and procedures through the use of coaching and disciplinary procedures
• Ensure that finished products are completed to product quality standards
• Ensure the availability of raw materials to the production processes
• Ensure adherence to all company rules and policies
• Provide motivation and leadership to team personnel
• Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
• Train new team members on how to perform safely and how to properly perform job duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
• High School diploma; Advanced training preferred
• Proven experience as a Production Lead/Supervisor or similar role with 1 year of experience
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work with a diverse group of team members.
• Organizational and leadership abilities
• Written and oral communication skills
• Must be self-motivated with a strong background in problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Must demonstrate a dependable work ethic
• Must be dependable – have a good attendance record, (5 points or less).
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to be at work on time, work longer shifts as necessary, and be able to work 6 days a week during peak periods.
• Must be available to work both day and evening shifts
• Must be able to receive a satisfactory result of a criminal background check to be considered for this position.
Skills Required
