WHAT’S THE ROLE

Frontier is seeking a Financial & Tax Accountant to join our Finance team in a unique role offering exposure to tax, payroll, statutory reporting, share schemes and corporate finance. Working within an AIM-listed video games company, you'll support key reporting and compliance activities while developing a broad technical skillset alongside an experienced and supportive team.

Initially providing maternity cover for a key member of the Finance team, this role offers significant scope to grow over time. As Frontier continues to evolve, you'll have the opportunity to take on new responsibilities and contribute across a wide range of finance activities, making this an ideal position for someone looking to build a long-term career within a dynamic and growing business.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Prepare monthly UK payroll and bi-weekly Canadian payroll submissions, working closely with the People team and outsourced payroll provider.
  • Support corporation tax compliance and tax credit claims, including VGEC, VGTR RDEC, SRED and Patent Box, working with external tax advisors.
  • Prepare indirect tax filings, including VAT and international sales taxes.
  • Support the production of monthly, interim and annual financial reporting.
  • Assist with audit activities and Audit Committee reporting.
  • Support employee share plans, leading on the UK Sharesave scheme administration.
  • Contribute to a variety of strategic finance projects and initiatives as and when required.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

    • Part-qualified or qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA or equivalent accountant.
    • Strong technical accounting skills and attention to detail.
    • Experience in payroll, tax or financial reporting is desirable.
    • Excellent Excel and analytical skills.
    • Proactive, organised and comfortable working with stakeholders across the business.
