Job Summary
The Financial System Administrator position will assist in administering daily operations and maintenance processes of all financial systems, Blackline, Fintrac (inhouse data mapping database), Oracle Cloud EPM and Prologue. Oversee day-to-day administration including user management, security roles, and system monitoring. Provide support to end-users as needed, helping them to effectively navigate and utilize all financial systems. Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures for all the financial systems. Demonstrates a good understanding of Finance as well as a good technical understanding of databases, reporting and excel (Smartview). Additionally, involved in supporting daily reconciliation tasks, month end books close, maintenance of monthly actual to plan to forecast reporting processes and the yearly budgeting process.
Job Responsibilities:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Support daily reconciliation effort and all data needs for Blackline.
Oversee user management, security roles, and system monitoring. Provide end-users support for all financial systems.
Supporting the monthly forecasting process including loading and reconciling data, supporting end users, maintaining planning forms and reporting templates.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures for all the financial systems. Manage team documents and smartview templates on SharePoint and Share drive.
Act as liaison between Finance and IT to facilitate the support of the Finance Reporting environment, including problem analysis and solution development.
ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Perform special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance training. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Information Technology / MIS / Finance or related field.
Minimum experience required: 1+ Years of financial management experience in accounting in corporate or public environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong accounting background with equivalent work experience in reconciliation area
Banking or financial services experience.
Strong business systems and applications skills are desired.
Job Competencies:
Understanding of Blackline, Oracle Databases, Oracle Cloud EPM, Prologue or Cloud GL ERP and Alteryx.
Knowledge of general business theory and practices, and basic accounting principles.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Smartview).
Experience with various financial tools and how they function, ie: financial reports, budget, forecasts, etc
