Vanderlande is enhancing its sustainability initiatives, and we're looking for a proactive Junior Controller to help the Group Financial Control team make a meaningful impact!
Your Responsibilities
As Junior Controller in our Group Financial Control team, you will play an essential role in supporting our financial and sustainability reporting. Reporting to the Director of Financial Control, you’ll help ensure that Vanderlande’s financial reporting is accurate, transparent, and in line with regulatory standards, while also supporting our sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in group-level financial control activities and support legal entities with IFRS standards

Help prepare external financial reports according to monthly timelines, ensuring quality

Provide support in maintaining and updating the Vanderlande accounting manual

Assist with addressing audit queries

Support the integration of strategic sustainability goals into financial planning

Collaborate on sustainability reporting initiatives, assisting in the implementation of CSRD reporting regulations

Participate in continuous improvement projects related to finance and sustainability
Your Qualifications and Skills
If you are enthusiastic about finance with a keen interest in sustainability, you’ll succeed with:

A Bachelor’s (HBO) or Masters (WO) degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Accountancy

Interest or experience in sustainability reporting (experience with regulations is a plus)
-
Familiarity with IFRS reporting standards

Up to 3 years of experience in financial reporting or auditing within a corporate or international environment
-
Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and commitment to high-quality output
-
An excellent command of English (Dutch or other languages is advantageous)

Analytical tool skills
What We Offer
This role offers a competitive salary with the potential to grow outside the range based on performance. We are open to a broader range of profiles.
For candidates with an HBO (Bachelor's degree), the starting salary is €3,189.00 gross per month, while candidates with a WO (Master's degree) will start at €3,546.00 gross per month. Relevant work experience will be taken into account and may influence the final offer.
