ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a Financial Specialist with hands-on experience in banking and payment systems within the CIS region, particularly with knowledge of Russian banking practices and financial documentation standard, also in navigating banking processes, foreign exchange control, and contractual reconciliation.
If you’re a detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in fast-paced, cross-border environments and has a strong command of Russian financial systems, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Create, process, and execute payments within the bank’s system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee and manage foreign exchange control processes in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular reconciliations with service providers and clients to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial records.
- Monitor adherence to payment deadlines and contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to identify and resolve payment-related issues efficiently.
- Prepare regular reports on completed payments and reconciliation outcomes.
- Maintain and organize documentation related to all payment transactions in accordance with internal policies and audit requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a bank or within the financial sector.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial operations.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accountability.
- Proven ability to handle large volumes of information while meeting tight deadlines.
- Experience working with payment systems and financial software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across departments.
- Understanding of compliance and sanctions frameworks related to cross-border payments in the region.
- Experience with remote or distributed financial operations.
