Job Posting TitleFinancial Solutions VP - RemoteJob DescriptionThe Healthcare Financial Solutions VP is a strategic leader responsible for driving the transition from traditional unit cost models to value-based, outcomes-driven frameworks. This role requires deep expertise in drug trend analytics, benefit design and supply chain economics across both pharmacy and medical domains, with a focus on high-impact therapies and their implications for service delivery, legal and compliance frameworks, and member/provider engagement. This position shapes financial strategies that support innovation, risk-based performance models, and market expansion.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic oversight of projected drug trend growth, with a focus on blockbuster therapies and their cross-functional effects on service delivery, regulatory compliance, and member/provider experience
- Champion the transition from unit cost to value-based financial models, including the incorporation of performance outcome risk assumptions
- Guide benefit design strategies to ensure alignment with evolving healthcare economics and overarching enterprise objectives
- Lead comprehensive financial evaluations of new markets, partnerships, and service models to support long-term growth and innovation goals
- Monitor and interpret competitive dynamics and emerging entrants in the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) space, including implications of acquisitions, service expansions, and disruptive models
- Anticipate and model future market shifts while critically assessing current business models to identify strategic gaps and opportunities
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership to integrate financial insights into enterprise strategy and operational planning
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Health Care Administration, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; High school diploma or GED required
- 12 years of Finance, Analytics, or Business Economics within healthcare, PBM, specialty pharmacy, or healthcare consulting
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Additional Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to disseminate complex material for a variety of audiences at all levels of enterprise and key external partners and clients
- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional initiatives
- Ability to align financial strategies with long-term organizational goals and healthcare trends
- Deep understanding of healthcare-specific financial models, reimbursement systems, and payer-provider dynamics
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in business (MBA) or health administration (MHA) or related area of study
- People leadership experience
- PBM experience
