NN Re is the reinsurance and hedging company of NN Group. Within NN Group, we are a relatively small organization with around 65 people from more than 17 different countries. In NN Re you get exposure to innovative balance sheet solutions, will work in a team of experts and interact with business partners around the world.
We help our customers optimize their risk profile, capital consumption and P&L volatility. Besides that we manage various hedging books related to investment guarantees underwritten throughout NN Group.
The NN Re Finance department is responsible for financial accounting, business and cost controlling, reinsurance administration, statutory reporting, Solvency 2 disclosures, asset reporting and managing the data quality and financial reporting risk framework.
What you are going to do
- Coordinate with counterparties and various departments to timely and correctly close the administration and accounting processes
- Managing the reinsurance administration, payments and reconciliations
- Monthly and quarterly financial accounting and cost controlling
- Process improvement projects

Who you are
- A strong background in (re)insurance accounting
- Experience with managing ledger structures
- Expert in MS Excel, Experience with Power BI and MS Access
- A mentality to get things done
- Creating solutions and working to achieve team objectives within deadlines
- Good communication, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and a good feeling for the big picture
- English speaking and writing skills
Who you will work with
The NN Re Finance team consists of 9 people. We work hybrid with 1 day a week in the office. In this role you will work closely with the NN Re management and various NN Group departments.
