Position Summary:
The Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager provides a high degree of accounting and reporting support and performs a variety of tasks of moderate and high complexity with a high level of confidentiality. He/she performs a variety of work utilizing judgment within prescribed standards (US GAAP and SEC Rules) and procedures. The candidate will be heavily involved in all aspects of the financial reporting process requiring high attention to detail. The candidate will also be responsible for technical accounting matters impacting the Company, including drafting technical accounting memoranda and analyses.
Principal Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting Responsibilities:

Preparation, review, and analysis of the Company’s quarterly and annual financial statements and footnotes in accordance with GAAP in conjunction with the Company’s SEC filings.

Drafting, reviewing and development of all sections of quarterly reports on Form 10-Q and annual reports on Form 10-K, including MD&A discussion, liquidity and capital resources, etc.

Maintain supporting documentation and review tie-out validation procedures for all deliverables.

Work with all levels of management to understand and present financial results and fluctuations between periods.

Review of latest accounting literature and disclosure requirements to ensure that the Company’s external financial reports are in accordance with GAAP.

Researching technical accounting topics impacting the Company and preparation of technical accounting memoranda and analyses.

Reviewing and updating, as needed, the Company’s accounting policies on an annual basis.

Tag and review XBRL for quarterly and annual reports within financial reporting software.

Participate in maintaining internal processes and controls to accurately compile information for disclosures.

Preparation and review of the quarterly earnings release and investor presentation.

Preparation and review of the annual proxy statement and other SEC filings.

Communication with external auditors to facilitate efficiencies in reporting process.

Contribute to enhancing efficiency of the financial reporting process and improving functionality of financial reporting software.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting with CPA track required.

7+ years of prior applicable work experience in public accounting, corporate accounting or financial reporting.

Experience in preparation of technical accounting memoranda in the areas of revenue recognition, business combinations, debt and equity transactions is strongly preferred

Strong knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP).

Experience with financial statement analysis and reporting with SEC reporting experience preferred.

Ability to research technical accounting topics and accounting pronouncements.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Working knowledge of Workiva/Wdesk software is a plus.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Strong analytical skills, including analysis, data collection and troubleshooting.
