The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
The Financial Reporting Specialist (m/f/x)* plays a key role in supporting and enhancing enterprise reporting capabilities through Power BI (PBI) and finance data insights. This role is responsible for maintaining existing PBI reports, translating financial concepts into scalable reporting solutions, and contributing to the design and building of new analytics tools.
This individual is expected to operate with a high degree of independence, proactively identify process improvement opportunities, and serve as a bridge between Finance stakeholders and data/reporting teams.
Here, you will make an impact by:
Power BI Reporting & Support
Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing Power BI reports and dashboards to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance
Monitor report usage and data integrity, proactively addressing issues and opportunities for optimization
Support end-users with report navigation, interpretation, and issue resolution
Report Development & Automation
Partner with Finance and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable PBI reporting solutions
Design and build new Power BI dashboards and datasets aligned with standardized KPIs and reporting definitions
Leverage automation and data modeling best practices to reduce manual reporting and improve efficiency
Financial Analysis
Apply strong understanding of core finance concepts (e.g., P&L, gross-to-net, revenue, margins, allocations) to ensure reporting accuracy and relevance
Ensure alignment of reports with enterprise KPI definitions and governance standards
Process Improvement & Standardization
Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes, improve data quality, and enhance user experience
Contribute to the standardization of reporting frameworks, data structures, and KPI definitions
Support continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of best practices across reporting and analytics
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related field
4–5 years of experience in financial reporting, analytics, or business intelligence
Strong Power BI experience (report development, DAX, data modeling, visualization best practices)
Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources (e.g., ERP systems, data warehouses)
Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SQL or data querying tools preferred
Solid understanding of financial statements, reporting structures, and key finance processes
Ability to translate business requirements into technical reporting solutions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Work Hours – 10 AM to 8 PM
Travel: May include up to 10% international
