Are you a detail-oriented financial professional with a passion for accuracy and efficiency? Do you thrive in a collaborative and dynamic environment? Merchants Fleet is looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join our Accounting team within the Planning, Analysis & Consulting (FPAC) group.
Location: Merchants Fleet Headquarters in Hooksett, NH / Hybrid
What You’ll Do
- Prepare annual financial statements, including footnotes and disclosures
- Manage monthly financial statements, with a strong focus on securitization accounting
- Ensure bank covenant compliance through detailed reporting and loan agreement reviews
- Lead the automation of reporting using Planful
- Research and interpret accounting standards, preparing internal white papers as needed
- Assist in tax reporting and support annual filings
- Contribute to special projects and ensure compliance with US GAAP
- Support the annual audit process
What We’re Looking For
- Five or more years of experience in public/private accounting and financial management
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience preparing financial statements
- Securitization experience is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools like Planful
- Ability to analyze large data sets and streamline processes
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred, MBA or MSA a plus)
