In this role, you will:
- Meet the company's regulatory, Security and Exchange Commission and other external financial reporting requirements
- Support external financial reporting activities with a thorough understanding of reporting requirements, end to end reporting processes, and data needed to deliver accurate and complete financial reporting
- Support implementation of moderate to complex projects and initiatives
- Provide accounting technical regulatory capital and regulatory reporting guidance
- Identify compliance and risk management requirements for supported area
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Communicate and provide consultation with experienced stakeholders throughout the enterprise
- 2+ years of Finance, Accounting, Financial Reporting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Strong demonstration of Project management, UAT Testing and implementation Skill
- UAT Planning & Coordination
- Review business requirements, Jira stories, defects, and functional specifications to determine testing scope.
- Participate in release planning, scope assessment, and test strategy discussions.
- Coordinate testing schedules, dependencies, environment readiness, and stakeholder engagement.
- Support end-to-end testing activities across multiple regulatory reporting products and reporting cycles.
- Develop and maintain detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
- Execute functional, regression, workflow, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Validate:
- Data sourcing and transformation changes
- Regulatory report outputs
- Workflow functionality
- User access and security controls
- Adjustments and approvals processes
- Submission and reporting activities
- Perform positive, negative, boundary, and exception testing scenarios.
- Identify, document, and track defects in Jira, Octane, or approved testing tools.
- Work closely with Technology and Business teams to investigate issues and validate fixes.
- Execute retesting and regression testing following defect resolution.
- Ensure defects are appropriately prioritized, documented, and closed.
- Maintain comprehensive testing evidence to support audit and governance requirements.
- Ensure screenshots, reports, logs, approvals, and supporting artifacts are complete and traceable.
- Update testing status, results, and observations in designated repositories and testing tools.
- Prepare testing completion reports and management summaries.
- Collaborate with:
- Business stakeholders
- Report Owners (ROs)
- Group Controllers (GCs)
- Transformation teams
- Technology teams
- Production Support teams
- Facilitate issue resolution discussions and testing walkthroughs.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, open defects, and readiness assessments.
- Support compliance with SOX, COSO, audit, regulatory, and enterprise control requirements.
- Validate application controls, data controls, workflow controls, and reporting controls.
- Ensure testing activities comply with established procedures, standards, and quality expectations.
- Participate in audits, reviews, and evidence requests as required.
- Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency, coverage, automation, and governance.
- Contribute to SOP development, testing standards, templates, and best practices.
- Support testing process improvements and release management initiatives.
