Job Title: Financial & Regulatory Reporting Officer

Reports to: Financial & Regulatory Reporting Manager
Salary Grade/ Band: 3A
JOB PURPOSE
Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), regulatory requirements, budget guidelines, and audit standards.
Maintain robust internal control safeguards and oversee all audit activities within the finance department.
Manage regulatory reporting to relevant authorities, including the Ghana Free Zone Board, Ghana Revenue Authority and other regulatory bodies.
Conduct thorough proofing and verification of financial data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
JOB CONTEXT
Provide finance, financial reporting, and regulatory support to eProcess and Ecobank businesses and functions, contributing to the effective execution of the corporate strategy. Ensure the timely, accurate, and consistent delivery of financial and regulatory information to maintain compliance and strengthen the organization’s credibility with regulators and key stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial and Operational Management
Prepare accurate accounting entries for supplier invoices and staff expenses.
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data through thorough proofing of accounts.
Oversee financial reporting processes to maintain transparency and compliance.
Ensure timely and up-to-date bank reconciliations.
Maintain and update the fixed assets register.
Prepare weekly cash flow statements to support liquidity management.
Provide timely feedback to internal customers (colleagues, other departments, and business units).
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
Monitor and enforce adherence to established processes and procedures.
Actively contribute to financial process improvement initiatives across the organization.
Execute and participate in additional tasks as requested by the CFO of eProcess.
Support the Financial & Regulatory Reporting Manager in all aspects of financial management.
Reporting
Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to the Group Office and eProcess Executive Committee (Exco).
Manage regulatory reporting to authorities in Ghana.
JOB PROFILE
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance-related roles.
Strong understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Accounting Standards (IAS).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Professional international accounting certification (e.g., ACCA,) or equivalent qualification.
