Financial Planning & Reporting Sr. Officer

Key Responsibilities: 

• Validate, review, and approve day-to-day OPEX and CAPEX requests to ensure compliance with approved budgets, financial policies, and authorization limits. 
•  Monitor budget utilization and control expenditures by identifying potential budget overruns and ensuring timely corrective actions. 
• Manage the budget reallocation process and coordinate with business units and stakeholders to resolve over-budget requests. 
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the budget control function. 
• Maintain and monitor the Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) tracking log to ensure budget availability and spending accuracy. 
• Perform monthly reconciliation of OPEX and CAPEX against the General Ledger and related systems, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate necessary adjustments with relevant stakeholders. 
• Review monthly financial results, perform detailed variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year, and prepare clear business explanations and recommendations. 
• Support the preparation of periodic financial forecasts by collecting, validating, and analyzing financial and operational data.
• Assist in the preparation and consolidation of the annual budget by coordinating with business units, validating budget submissions, and ensuring consistency with strategic objectives and historical performance. 
• Prepare budget control reports, dashboards, and management presentations to support executive decision-making. 
• Support the preparation of quarterly and annual Board and Management Committee presentations by providing financial analysis, insights, and key performance highlights. 
•  Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, budget governance, and corporate procedures throughout the planning and budget control cycle. 
• Perform other duties and special assignments as requested by the Direct Manager

Education: 

Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or any other related field.

Level of Experience: 

Limited Experience (2-5Yrs) in a related field.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

• Good knowledge of telecommunication industry.

• Excellent command of data analysis skills.
• Excellent command of English language both speaking and writing.
• Excellent command of computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Good knowledge of Think-Cell tool
