As a Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Associate in the Financial Planning and Analysis team, you will be responsible for coordinating the budgeting and forecasting process, as well as management reports and presentations. You will deliver regular management reports, develop new reporting tools like dashboards, and report to line of business on pipeline and forecasting. In this role, you will focus on key financial measures such as revenues, headcount, and expenses, delivering insightful financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making. You will be the partner across the firm to provide financial and strategic analysis, oversight, and coordination of budgeting and forecasting.
Job responsibilities
- Utilize advanced Excel skills and PowerPoint knowledge to prepare materials for business reviews for the senior heads in the business
- Provide insights based on analysis, and broader leadership team to enable effective decision-making
- Partner with the product, country and regional business managers to drive the pipeline and revenue forecast and expense management agenda
- Collaborate with the team in annual planning process across revenues, expenses, headcount and balance sheet, both in terms of preparation of templates and data integrity
- Benchmarking business performance versus competitors across regions, industries, products
- Driving productivity initiatives to enhance and automate current processes and development of new dashboards.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- An understanding of Investment Banking (M&A, ECM and DCM) products
- Advanced Excel skills along with power point knowledge
- Pro-active and problem solving mind-set with ability to identify, clearly present and implement solutions
- Strong organizational and time management skills; flexibility, ability to prioritize requests and multi-task
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and effective under pressure
- Strong analytical and numeric skills, excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication, influencing and relationship building skills
- Ability to work well independently and partner effectively
- Disciplined approach to managing processes and controls with a view to improve
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Degree qualification and knowledge of Alteryx
