Job Summary:

Reporting to the Director of FP&A, the Manager of FP&A, Digital & Club Support Center (CSC) Analytics will oversee financial planning and analysis for both the digital business and the CSC operations. This role is critical in driving financial insights that support strategic decision-making across digital initiatives and the broader CSC.

As a key thought partner to the EVP Chief Digital Officer and leadership teams, the Manager will identify opportunities and risks, optimize profitability, and ensure financial transparency across digital and CSC functions. The ideal candidate will bring deep financial expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead long-range financial planning for digital and Home Office analytics
  • Develop and manage monthly financial forecasts, incorporating trends and strategic initiatives across both areas
  • Enhance reporting processes, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of digital and CSC financial data
  • Oversee two Sr. Financial Analysts responsible for annual budgets and monthly forecasting cycles
  • Collaborate with business partners to analyze KPIs and recommend improvements to optimize profitability and efficiency
  • Conduct financial analyses to assess risks and opportunities, influencing investment and merchandising decisions
  • Build strong partnerships across Supply Chain, Planning & Allocation, Logistics, Operations, Accounting, Merchandising, Digital, and CSC teams
  • Lead ad-hoc analyses to support executive decision-making and business strategy
  • Ensure accurate reconciliation of data, financial statements, and P&L reports
  • Drive strategic initiatives and special projects that enhance financial reporting and operational insights
  • Manage performance, mentorship, and professional development within the FP&A team
  • Provide business solutions and financial recommendations for key decisions affecting digital and CSC functions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • Proven leadership and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to plan and execute projects under tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills for presenting complex financial data clearly and concisely
  • Strong business acumen with experience interfacing with senior executives
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Expertise in digital analytics, cost per acquisition modeling, and Home Office financial performance metrics
  • Experience in mentoring and developing teams

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $135,000.00.
