Job Description:

Main Responsibilities

  • FP&A will be responsible for managing and administrating of all kinds of FP&A works related with Accounting and Periodic reporting, Business unit Planning and Analysis.

  • FP&A will be responsible for managing and administrating of budgeting and forecasting, active supporting on internal audit, tax, collection and treasury functions.

  • Reporting

  • Prepare monthly reporting package (P/L, B/S, Receivables, Cash Flow Forecast) for timely delivery to APAC & Central,

  • Assist to prepare annual rolling Cash Flow Forecast and working capital management,

  • Maintain monthly reconciliation between accounting and reporting.

  • Analyzing:

  • Identify delta and comment variances actual vs. planning and past,

  • Provide to the Regional and HQ teams, with ad-hoc information requests and analysis,

  • Work closely with the business team to provide the updated result of financial.

  • Planning:

  • Prepare Budget process (OP) and update forecast (FC 1/2/3),

  • Provide financial guidance and collect division data to be included,

  • Fill in and deliver required templates to APAC & Central in accordance with deadlines.

  • Controlling: 

  • Monitor Profitability and control spending,

  • Guide to follow procedures in line with internal control standards, 

  • Support on Internal Controls, checks and following new requirements, annual campaigns including documentation.

  • Accounting:

  • Supervise outsourced production of the accounts,

  • Maintain daily relationship with the outsourcing company,

  • Review Sales data and manage intercompany transactions,

  • Attend MRC procedures and prepare closing process has appropriate supporting documentation for ICSA purpose,

  • Assist to review the tax returns (VAT, WHT, CIT).

  • Auditing:

  • Attend Internal & External audit processes, answer questions and provide information with the support of external service provider,

  • Support to maintain statutorily required documentation and annual statutory financial statements.


  • Treasury:

  • Monitor payment process and manage SAP PO/NPO process,

  • Maintain eBAM (Banking management) and PMF process (Payment tool, outsourced), 

  • Review expense claim process for in-charge division.

  • Information Technology

  • Maintain SAP & support to the implementation of new financial system,

  • Participate Group project affecting the areas of accounting, reporting, planning.

EDUCATION, BACKGROUND, KNOWLEDGE NEEDED FOR THE JOB

  • Education:

  • Bachelor degree in finance/accounting/business administration,

  • Any other special field must be compensated by a strong financial background.

  • Background:

  • 6 years in financial positions with the experiences on budgets, forecasts, analysis, reporting, (Accounting and Internal & External audits),

  • Preferred working experiences in the multinational companies.

  • Skills:

  • Excellent rigor, analysis, synthesis and communication capacities,

  • Able to show initiative and be pro-active,

  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Knowledge:

  • Bilingual Korean/English, ,

  • ERP experience necessary, having worked within SAP, strong Excel skills,

  • High level of accounting knowledge of Korean GAAP, IFRS would be a plus,

  • Good tax culture.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, or business administration
  • Minimum 6 years in financial positions with budgets, forecasts, analysis, reporting, accounting and internal/external audits experience
  • Experience in multinational companies
  • Bilingual Korean and English
  • ERP experience, specifically working with SAP
  • Strong Excel skills
  • High level of accounting knowledge of Korean GAAP
  • Knowledge of IFRS
  • Good tax knowledge/culture (VAT, WHT, CIT)
  • Experience preparing budgets, rolling forecasts, and cash flow forecasts
  • Experience with reconciliations, intercompany transactions, month-end/closing and supporting ICSA/MRC processes
  • Experience supporting internal and external audits and maintaining statutory documentation
  • Treasury/payment process experience including SAP PO/NPO, eBAM, and payment tools (PMF)
  • Ability to maintain SAP and support implementation of new financial systems and group projects
  • Strong analytical, synthesis, communication skills; initiative; ability to work independently and in teams
