Oversee the Financial Planning & Analysis function (40% time allocation):
- Lead the consolidation and presentation of the annual operating budget and periodic financial forecasts including ongoing partnership with the Finance Business Partners to develop realistic and challenging financial targets
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of comprehensive financial performance reports to senior management, the executive team, and other stakeholders
- Support the Director of FP&A and VP of Finance in preparing scenario planning models and conducting sensitivity analysis to evaluate financial outcomes under various assumptions
- Act as primary finance point of contact for support and shared service functions (People, Legal, Engineering, etc), supporting budgeted expense variance analysis, capitalization assessments, and new investment decisions
Drive the US Finance strategy in delivering operational improvements related to our systems & data processes (40% time allocation):
- Collaborate with the Senior FP&A Technical Analyst and Global Finance Change team to develop and execute a roadmap for optimizing our Enterprise Performance Management system (OneStream) and associated data infrastructure
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of financial data across all systems used for reporting and analysis
- Drive initiatives to automate financial reporting, consolidate data sources, and streamline planning processes leveraging technology
Manage the ongoing development, daily priorities, and work allocation of the FP&A Reporting function (20% time allocation)
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required. Master's degree (MBA) or relevant professional certification (CFA, CPA) preferred.
- 7+ years of experience working in an FP&A role (preferably with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or management capacity)
- Experience with Google Suite, Looker, OneStream or other BI platforms/EPM systems
- Experience working for a P&C Insurance provider preferable, but not required
- Experience managing team of analysts preferred
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing financial systems
- A self-starter, highly motivated and able to work autonomously in a fast paced and changing environment
- Strong ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to diverse audiences, including senior executives
