You are applying for the Financial Planning Accountant position (1-year fixed-term contract). This role is based at the Coca-Cola Production Plant, located in San Bernardo 📍
Job Summary:
- Active participation in the team financial, to identify and resolve the problems and situations related to accounting and financial reports. Complying with the requests for information and to assure in time and accuracy the fulfillment of the work.
- Achieving the closing of all the operations of the month, this to obtaining the monthly financial result of the Plant. This process includes the validation and revision of the operations registered in the greater accountants, determination of provisions, prices variations registrations, closing of processes carried out in the systems in exploitation, analysis of accounts, entry of data in the forms of work, etc.
- Supports and ensure of executing and controlling the financial activities, projection, business Plan, internal control of the Chile Concentrate Plant related with Opex, Capex and Operating Capital to agreement with TCCC and local polices and avoid deviations.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the activities indicated in the "Distribution of Activities AREA of Finance CPS Chile" are carried out by the assigned people and their backups
Financial Reporting
- Opex Reports and comparison RS, BP, RE and Actuals including monthly Opex commitment review (collect all opex accounts file details, Supplies, Repair & Maintenance Utilities, Temporary Staff, Benefits, Training and Depreciation individual opex accounts)
- Upload Opex in SAP (BP and RE) and training to the area supervisors
- Monthly prepare actual and estimate number and narratives related with Deferred
- Preparing any other requested financial report (OPCAP consolidation)
- PL and OPCAP consolidation and reporting in IPA and Hyperion
- Review and management of cases older than 90 days and Power BI preparation in the Plant Comm Center (Accrual Engine)
Capex and Fixed Asset
- Prepare semiannually the Capital Spend report to inform the Engineering area about the status of the capital budget
- Monthly report of Asset Under Construction according to plan new capitalization and physical verification
- Coordinate with the owner of the project the technical close and physical review according to determinate correct use life, asset category, components, etc.
- Request to Platform Services-GFO by Sales Force the correct activation of CPS Chile new Asset, review and depreciation validate.
- Tagged the Fixes Asset according with TCCC Policy
- Request to Platform Services-GFO all FA disposal and request the approvals for CPS Chile
- Control that depreciation generate by Platform Services-GFO is according with TCCC police and our BP/RE (clearing account review).
- Planning and monitoring the Fixed Asset Physical Inventory, according with internal police and SPP
- Monthly roll forward of Fixed Asset account to ensure the accuracy of asset additions, transfers, disposal and depreciation (CSAQ)
Policies and procedures
- Ensure that Finance processes comply with TCCC policies and local regulations
- Keep Plant accounting records accurate and up to date, Opex and accounts in charge
- Ensure the Financial and tax activities they suitably are fulfilled and agree to the TCCC and local policy (Monetary Correction and IFRS Inventories Valuation)
Accounting
- Coordinate and prepare monthly and year-end closing: journal vouchers, accruals, clearings, purchase orders commitment review and analysis related to operating expenses
- Review the correct register of the costs centers (opex dashboard)
- BS reconciliations: Accruals Expenses, Accrual Engine, Salaries Accruals, Deferred, AUC, GR-IR accounts and ensure the correct registration of the data
- Monthly prepare deferred inventory variance rate SPP 14.2 (actual and estimates)
- Prepare, ensure that the correct entry of administrative charge receipt and send to other location.
- Coordination of areas Opex budget consolidation in RS and Rolling
- Calculate Depreciation in Rolling (quarterly) and RS process
Repairs and Maintenance and Supplies Expenses
- Ensure compliance of Repair and Maintenance and Supplies Budget
- Ensure the correct entry Opex budget and adjustments of wrong entry
- Monthly meeting with areas supervisors for reviews the budget status, risk and opportunities, establishing actions and follow up
- Monthly report Actuals and Commitment
Spare Part Inventory
- Coordinate annually the Full Spare Parts Inventory
- Spare Parts ABC matrix classification (cycle inventory) annual review
- SAP Monthly orders settlement (PO Maintenance)
General
- Identify and record any activity that may improve procedures or any other activity related to Chile Concentrate Plant Processes
- SIG Internal Auditor member
- Financial support the Finance Manager, Accountant in Charge and other areas
- EJT PI’s finance review and update
- RFA local review and coordination approvals according to DOA and LCOA
- Annual conversion of stock from USGAP to IFRS GAAP
- Annual calculation of Monetary Correction of Inventory by local Tax regulations
Internal Control
- Support update SOX, Workiva, Risk Models narratives and Questionary Control Self Assessments (CSAQ) for Property, Plant and Equipment.
Experience:
- 14 years of experience in Accountant Analyst
- Studies in Accountability, CPA (Certificated Public Accountant) or Business Administration

Skills Required
