Part-Time Financial Operations Intern
$15.51 minimum starting pay

Shelter maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in geographic location, education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Please remember that this is the minimum starting base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position.
What You Will Be Doing:
The intern would support both the Disbursements and Remittance teams in processes. These teams are responsible for money coming into and money going out of Shelter. They would also assist in special projects supporting the Treasury team.
What We're Looking For:
Demonstrate analytical abilities, excellent math, organizational and statistical skills. Written and oral communication skills.
Experience in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP formulas in order to perform data analysis and reconciliation procedures.
Demonstrate time management skills and the ability to prioritize to meet frequent deadlines.
Current Sophomore/Junior/Senior/Grad Student accepted into the Accounting, or related, program at an accredited University.
Preferred completion of Accounting I and Accounting II college courses and working knowledge/understanding of GAAP.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
