Job Description

Typical work responsibilities include:

  • Ensure rigid controls around posting and reconciliation of client monies.
  • Daily and monthly financed funds reconciliation and accurate posting to insurer system.
  • Ensure the receipt and collation of insurer statements as per your allocated accounts to the outlined deadlines.
  • Ensure rigid controls around Insurer account reconciliations.
  • Ensure each account is reconciled within the timeframe outlined in the TOBA for each of the accounts.
  • Accurately identifying the amounts payable to insurers, effectively communicating to insurers any differences to the statements, ensuring only what has been received is paid.
  • Create and sustain excellent communication in identifying and resolving any disputes of payment, with insurers and sales agents.
  • Accurate production of payment reports to be sent for authorisation and payment to insurers.
  • Ensure the accurate posting of insurer receipts in the client account to the insurer system.
  • Daily and weekly reconciliations of regulated client money accounts for management review.
  • Ensure that the generic client accounts email inbox is effectively managed, along with the team.
  • Adhere to internal controls to ensure we maintain the correct level of authorisation, sign-off and documentation.

Qualifications

The essential skills/attributes are: -

  • GCSE’s in Mathematics and English grade C or above.
  • Experience as part of a high performing team.
  • Experience of working within an accounts environment.
  • Experience dealing with high volume with attention to detail.
  • Experience in resolving client queries.
  • Strong reconciliation skills and internal control experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience of fostering strong working relationships across the organisation as well as with external Suppliers/Insurers
