Job Summary:
This Analyst role in Strategic Finance has a primary focus on Accounting & Finance processes from record to report. This team’s purpose is to leverage people, processes, and technology to improve finance operations. Leading in the discovery, prioritization, planning, development of solutions to support the business and drive sustainable growth for Acrisure. The Analyst is expected to build strong relationships with the Accounting, Finance & cross functional teams.
Scope & Responsibilities:
Leadership:

Providing direction and offering insights based on their own experiences to other strategic finance team members. Helping stakeholders navigate the complexities of leadership, and offering advice on decision-making, problem-solving, and strategic thinking.
Process Optimization:
-
Focused on thinking about outcomes, simultaneously understanding business context, business challenges, and the complexities of the internal and external environment to frame the scope of the transformation, articulate the business need/outcome, and shape the agenda for transformation.

Documents requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations related to proposed solutions.

Acquires an understanding of the business issues and data challenges of the organization.

Drive awareness of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data.

Acquires an understanding of the business issues and data challenges of the organization.

Communicates effectively with department SMEs to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions & support day to day business needs.

Enhances connections with existing and new interfaces.
Change Management:
-
Establish and apply a repeatable methodology to lead change management activities driven by strategic finance.

Coordinates user acceptance testing; writing testing scenarios, working with process improvement, assisting with issue resolution.

Manage & communicate change effectively by addressing resistance and ensuring smooth transitions.

Leads projects and ensuring completeness of tasks and communicating updates to leadership.

Ensures training and procedures are developed by supporting teams to support process optimizations and new projects.
Data Analysis & Quality Assurance:

Conduct data-driven assessments to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas of waste.

Ability to speak to both the financial and technical aspects of ERP.

Drive creation of reports and dashboards to monitor the effectiveness of process improvements.

Microsoft Suite: Excel for data analysis, Word for sophisticated document creation, PowerPoint for engaging presentations, and Outlook for efficient email and calendar management.

Proficiency in data analysis and relevant software tools (preferred)

Experience in Workday (implementation/maintenance/enhancements/reporting creation) or other ERP (preferred)

Experience in system integration (preferred)
Education/Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Management discipline and/or and three or more years of experience.

Strong data management skills
-
2 years+ of experience working as an analyst or developing automated solutions.

2 years+ of experience working within Workday, Adaptive Planning, or similar platforms.
-
Exposure to programming languages or advanced analytics.
-
Experience working cross functionally within organizations.
