Position Overview: 

We are looking for Financial Data Analyst for our Portfolio team.

The Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing financial and operational data to support strategic decision-making and optimize IP portfolio management. This position offers an opportunity to work on high-impact projects, develop forecasting models, and contribute to process improvements across global operations.

  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain forecasting models for IP portfolios and related financial metrics.
  • Prepare detailed reports and dashboards for leadership and clients using Excel, Access, and BI tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
  • Support budgeting, cost analysis, and pricing strategies for IP services.
  • Assist in data migration, validation, and troubleshooting during system implementations.
  • Respond to ad-hoc data requests and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and data governance standards.

Skills/ Experience Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Experience in Intellectual Property domain or legal research would be an added advantage.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Financial and Data Analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Access) and collaboration tools like MS Teams.
  • Familiarity with SQL and VBS scripting (preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under strict deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
