As a Financial Crime Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and management of innovative solutions to combat financial crime. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement a framework that effectively detects and prevents money laundering, terrorist financing and sanctions risk. You will lead on identifying emerging trends and staying abreast of all required regulatory requirements, to ensure products remain competitive and compliant.
Job Responsibilities
  • Drive an end to end digital financial crime strategy through implementation of a financial crime program that optimizes client experiences and delivers a best in class framework to prevent and detect financial crime
  • Be a financial crime subject matter expert, providing financial crime expertise to a wide range of stakeholders within the business to ensure key partners are aware of any potential financial crime risk exposure and considerations
  • Define financial crime product requirements for all products, channels, customer types and geographies
  • Prioritize the financial crime business requirements, driving delivery of technical solutions by Platform and engineering squads
  • Support the completion of compliance monitoring and testing activities, audit reviews and regulatory exams
  • Collaborate with the operational teams to build controls and processes to support them in their operational tasks as well as empowering them with knowledge, experience and capability
  • Work with analytics to create dashboards and key visualization views to drive enhanced reporting and monitoring of risk and control performance indicators which supports us in monitoring platform performance effectively

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Language: fluent German and English
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience in first or second line financial crime role in product, strategy or advisory
  • Background in financial services
  • Knowledge of the EU AML regulatory landscape
  • Able to work autonomously to effect change
  • Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities, manages competing priorities to achieve the most effective result and able to work in a fast paced result driven environment
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills with solid critical thinking, attention to detail and analysis

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Recognised professional qualification in AML/CTF
  • Background in retail banking
  • Excellent written and communication skills with an ability to influence business leaders in a meaningful and actionable manner
  • Jira/Confluence experience
