We're looking to hire a skilled Financial Controls Consultant to join our Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) team. In this role, you'll provide financial controls support across PRT, Structured Settlements, and Stable Value products. You'll be responsible for leading audits, supporting SOC 2, reconciling ledger activity, processing ledger and cash entries, reporting for reinsurance and other complex reconciliations, and improving processes.

The Impact
As a Financial Controls Consultant, you will:
- Continuously assess processes and problem solve to drive efficiency and eliminate waste
- Support strategic platform replacement
- Lead and support internal and external audits, including SOC 2
- Apply deep knowledge of operational financial controls to ensure accuracy and integrity
- Perform balancing and reconciliation of PRT financial transactions
- Partner with Inforce to resolve and correct out-of-balances and problem solve around error trends
- Process SAP/TCC general ledger entries and wires for PRT, SVI, and Structured Settlements
- Collaborate with IT and Corporate Tax to ensure accurate, complete and efficient tax reporting
- Conduct monthly analysis and reporting of reinsurance reconciliations and split deal contracts
- Respond to ad hoc data requests with urgency
- Maintain and update procedures to reflect current practices and compliance needs
- Explore and apply best-in-class data tools and techniques to manage annuitant populations effectively
- Make data driven decisions
The Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years in an analytical or financial consulting role
- 1+ year Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Basic Logic)
The Ideal Qualifications
- 2+ years of direct audit experience
- 3+ years in a financial or analytical role
- Prior audit experience
- Experience with MicroStrategy, Tableau, or Alteryx is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to think creatively
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Basic Logic)

Salary Range: $70,900.00-$93,000.00
