Job DescriptionFinance & Operations:
- Oversee the day-to-day Accounting operations including A/R, A/P, Credit, GL, Capital Expenditure, Payroll, Treasury, Revenue Recognition and Cost Accounting.
- Prepare timely internal monthly accounts (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cashflows, and Analysis) for review by the Regional and Global Accounting teams.
- Liaise with external advisors on the preparation of statutory financial information and tax computations.
- Oversee all tax and regulatory compliance issues including the preparation and submission of information to statutory authorities for Payroll, VAT and Corporation Tax.
- Provide required information/documentation for Internal Control Evaluations and Internal/External Audits.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost reduction opportunities.
- Contribute to decisions regarding financial strategy.
- Maintain a good relationship and communicate frequently with Operations and Management teams.
- Provide support to the District Manager, specifically during the Annual Budgeting process.
- Participate in the negotiation of contracts (sales and purchases) and policies.
Knowledge
- Proven and strong experience as a Finance Manager, Assistant Controller or Controller
- 4 + years of Accounting and Finance experience (preferably in the Global Logistics Industry)
- Accounting Qualification (Country Specific)

- Local tax and regulatory knowledge, including Statutory Chart of Accounts (if required in Country)
- Good understanding of business as well as up to date knowledge of Accounting Rules & Regulations (preferably including US GAAP)
