Responsibilities- Financial Reporting & Ownership: Own the end-to-end preparation of financial reports and compile comprehensive financial statements in strict accordance with US GAAP.
- Global Closing Process: Take charge of the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including consolidations, accruals, and reconciliations across multiple entities.
- Audit & Tax Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and manage tax compliance and filing requirements for both Israeli and U.S. entities.
- Budget vs. Actual (BVA) Monitoring: Assist in the annual budget planning and own the preparation and monitoring of Budget vs. Actual reports.
- International Operations: Support and manage intercompany transactions and ensure the accurate consolidation of global subsidiaries.
- US Entity Compliance: Handle U.S. federal and state tax reporting, including the maintenance of Transfer Pricing (TP) documentation and compliance.
- Internal Controls & Optimization: Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting to mitigate risk. Identify and implement practical process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Global Payroll: Oversee and manage the global payroll process, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Ad-hoc Projects: Contribute to various financial projects based on company needs and scaling requirements.
- Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – A must.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller within the High-Tech/Startup sector.
- Background: Professional training from one of the "Big 4" accounting firms.
- Systems: Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP – A Must.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of US GAAP and international accounting standards.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English; ability to communicate financial information clearly to team members and stakeholders.
