About The Role
As a Financial Controller you will oversee Opex and Capex budgeting, forecasting, and variance analyses while monitoring key financial KPIs to drive performance improvements. You will support annual planning, financial reporting, and month-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll identify cost optimization opportunities, enhance financial discipline, and contribute to sustainable EBITDA growth.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes of Opex & Capex, including variance analyses and scenario planning.
  • Monitor and report on key financial KPIs, providing insights to drive performance improvements.
  • Deliver ad-hoc reports and executive presentations for senior management.
  • Participate preparation of the annual budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting processes with team
  • Regularly monitor and analyze opex, capex and related items in cash flow statements.
  • Support to identify opex discipline and improvement opportunities to drive positive EBITDA for the company.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and ensure accurate reporting
  • Assisting Financial Control team month end closure procedures and activities
  • Taking part in monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing process,

Expected Qualifications

  • Experience in Audit firms (min 2 years)
  • 3-5 years experience as Financial Control, FP&A, Finance Decision Support, Ceo Office or equivalent in reputable companies (Ecomm, retail, fmcg based entities are plus)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related field
  • Extended knowledge in MS Office Applications (sap experience is plus)
  • Ability of analytic thinking, teamwork, and strong communication, coordination and problem solving skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Available to travel across the region (Gulf, Azerbaijan or EU) and Türkiye when needed
  • English speaking
  • Open to change and process improvement, able to initiate process improvements.
