If so, we may have just the role for you! We are seeking a Financial Controller, focused on our production and manufacturing operations in Prelouc. Driven by recent and planned growth at this site, we are expanding the team and support significantly. This role of Financial Controller will support the future growth plans - what a brilliant time to join!
This role is accountable for the ongoing analysis of manufacturing variances, target costing projects, margin analysis, and tracing costs back to underlying activities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Leading the operation's financials for a growing manufacturing site.
- Supporting forecasting and monthly gross margin analysis to explain actuals compared to budget differences, including: cost of goods sold, scrapped material, purchase price variances, standard cost changes, warranty reserve, excess & obsolete inventory reserve, inventory revaluation, monthly inventory reconciliations, and manufacturing variance analysis.
- Assisting the operations team with identification and execution of productivity initiatives.
- Monitoring the site’s inventory and assisting as a key contributor to a successful SIOP process.
- Supporting the site with return of investment management for new P&E.
Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies
- Experience of working in an analytical role, ideally within financial controlling or FP&A.
- Experience of working within a manufacturing / production environment is deemed advantageous.
- Highly motivated self-starter who can work well independently and in a team environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, ever-changing environment with the ability to stay focused and quickly achieve closure
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- English and Czech languages required (German as a plus)
- Organizational, negotiation, and problem solving skills
- Understanding of collection policies and practices
- Strong knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel
- SAP and Oracle experience highly desired
Travel Requirements
- Up to 10% travel to other business locations, as required.
