• Lead the controllership function by ensuring accurate financial reporting, governance, and compliance across the organization.
• Partner closely with the CXO team to support business growth through budgeting, forecasting, fundraising support, and management reporting.
• Review finance operations, strengthen internal controls, and drive process improvements rather than performing routine accounting entries.
• Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, oversee timely closures, coordinate audits, and ensure statutory compliance including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and ROC.
• Prepare budgets, rolling cash flow forecasts, variance analysis, financial models, project-wise profitability reports, and management MIS for business decisions.
• Monitor internal controls, cost centres, inter-company accounting, ERP usage, automation initiatives, lender covenants, and mentor the finance team.
RequirementsPreferred Candidate Profile
• Experience in Renewable Energy, EPC, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Engineering, Construction, or project-based businesses is preferred.
• Professionals from Banking, NBFC, or Financial Institutions working in Corporate Banking, SME Credit, Business Loans, Credit Appraisal, Project Finance, or Infrastructure Finance are also encouraged to apply.
• Candidates should possess strong financial statement analysis, cash flow assessment, working capital analysis, credit evaluation, and sound accounting fundamentals.
• Strong knowledge of financial statement finalization, budgeting, forecasting, audit coordination, statutory compliance review, and internal controls.
• Hands-on experience with Advanced Excel, Tally, ERP systems (Zoho/SAP or equivalent), financial modelling, and management reporting.
• Ability to analyse business performance, improve finance processes, and communicate financial insights effectively.
• High ownership, integrity, attention to detail, and accountability.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and communication with senior management.
