Job Description

The Business Valuation team is hiring for specialists to work on complex audits/engagements related to ASC 805, ASC 820, ASC 718, FMV projects. You will be expected to execute projects on an end-to-end basis, write reports/memo documentation and multi-task multiple projects. We offer the opportunity to work on a wide variety of challenging projects that will provide exposure to financial analysis, business and financial modeling and forecasting, and valuations of business entities, intellectual property, intangible assets, common and preferred stock and other securities along with partnership interests, private debt instruments, options, warrants, and other derivative products. These services are provided to assist clients with mergers, acquisitions and dispositions; venture financing and public offerings (IPOs); taxation planning and compliance; financial reporting; bankruptcy and reorganization; litigation and dispute resolution; and strategic planning. We also support assurance and tax clients pursuant to their valuation needs. This is an opportunity to become part of a dynamic growing team and build a career with us.

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance

  • MBA in Finance (Post any graduation)

  • Preferred- CFA Level 1/2

TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS

  • Proficiency in MS Office, S& Capital IQ, Bloomberg

  • Ability to prepare detailed financial models in MS Excel and compose technical reports

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

EXPERIENCE

  • 1-3 years of experience of handling audit and external projects

  • First level review of projects completed by Associates

LEADERSHIP SKILLS

  • Ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial work environment

  • Ability to conduct minor training sessions on technical products as and when required,

  • Ability to travel as needed or requested
