About the Role:
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for monitoring financial performance, managing accounting operations, and preparing accurate internal and regulatory compliant reports. This role supports both the UAE entity and the wider global group of companies across Malaysia, Thailand, South Africa, Cyprus, and Colombia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and regulatory reports in line with SCA & IFRS requirements and internal standards.
- Monitor actual vs. budget performance, assist in forecasting and cash flow planning, and support global financial planning and budgeting processes.
- Analyze business performance, cost structures, and revenue pipelines to provide management with data-driven insights.
- Prepare and submit UAE VAT and Corporate Tax reports.
- Liaise with regulators, external auditors, and tax authorities during audits, inspections, and
reviews. - Support the preparation of capital adequacy statements (if required).
- Develop and maintain management dashboards and KPIs to track financial and operational
performance. - Contribute to pricing strategy, operational modeling, and investment analysis.
- Implement and monitor internal controls and compliance frameworks across all entities to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory adherence.
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations. Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Ensure all financial records meet audit, compliance, and reporting standards across the group.
- Consolidate financial results across subsidiaries and regions (Malaysia, Thailand, South Africa, Cyprus, and Colombia) and prepare group-level reports and variance analyses.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, ACCA, or CPA are preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or accounting within the financial services or fintech industry.
- Strong understanding of UAE SCA regulations, IFRS standards, and global financial reporting processes.
- Proven hands-on experience with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance.
- Skilled in financial consolidation, variance analysis, and implementation of compliance frameworks.
- Advanced analytical, reporting, and Excel capabilities, with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP/accounting systems.
Skills Required
