As a Financial Analyst-Supply Chain & Procurement, you'll support the financial health and strategic direction of McCain by partnering closely with Supply Chain & Procurement leaders across ANZ. You will leverage your analytical skills to deliver insights that drive optimal business performance and enable key decision-making. Using your expertise, you will ensure the integrity of financial data, support improvement initiatives, and champion a culture of excellence.

What you'll be doing.

• Prepare, analyze, and report on budgets and forecasts, with a focus on Freight and Warehouse cost drivers and variances.
• Maintain and enhance internal accounting controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct weekly and monthly variance analysis on supply chain costs; support month-end close.
• Develop and implement standardized, user-friendly reporting formats; ensure actionable insights reach key stakeholders.
• Deliver timely and accurate financial information to Supply Chain, Procurement, and other core business teams for day-to-day decision-making.
• Support the evaluation of business cases for investments and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Partner with business units to identify cost savings and validate Strategic Cost Advantage (SCA) project outcomes.
• Advocate for and influence operational efficiency by identifying process improvements and driving accountability.
• Support the Finance team in presenting financial results to the leadership team.
• Contribute to business finance activities and cross-functional projects as required.

What you'll need to be successful.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field.
• CPA/CA qualification or equivalent.
• 3-4+ years finance/accounting experience, ideally within chartered, manufacturing, FMCG, or consumer retail sectors.
• Demonstrated numerical curiosity, accuracy, and analytical rigor with advanced Excel skills.
• Strong business acumen, presentation skills, and the ability to build effective relationships.
• Experience using business reporting tools such as Microsoft Office, SAP, Power BI.
• Proactive attitude with a growth mindset and a strong drive for continuous personal and professional development.
• Ability to interpret and align strategies to broader business objectives.
• Eagerness to be actively involved at various levels of the organization.

You will report to the Finance Manager-Supply Chain & Procurement and be part of a high-performing, collaborative Finance team. The team partners across departments to inspire accountability and deliver results while fostering a supportive environment for continued learning and development.
