Financial Analyst – Täby, Sweden

Your contribution

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our Sweden Surveillance finance team. The role reports to the Controller of our Sweden Surveillance business, within the Teledyne FLIR Defense business unit. The successful candidate will play a key role in interpreting financial data, forecasting trends, and supporting strategic decision-making across our operations in Sweden and its markets.

• Analyze financial data and market trends.
• Prepare financial reports, forecasts and models to support decision making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with business goals.
• Conduct variance analysis, provide actionable insights to improve financial performance.
• Perform period, quarter and year end close activities
• Support quarterly and annual financial planning processes.
• Monthly Backlog Reporting
• Extended warranty tracking and release
• CER processes and submittals, including demo and assets under construction
• Time Reporting administration for Surveillance Sweden
• Analysis and reporting of monthly financial/operational metrics (KPIs)
• ASC606 checklist preparation and reporting
• Service WIP analysis and adjusting
• Ensure compliance with Swedish financial regulations and US reporting standards.
• Operating Expense analysis and other analytical data
• Support audit processes (Internal, SOX, External etc)
• Assistance with Budget preparation for entire financial package for the sites; revenue, margin, cost centers
• Assign g/l coding and approve purchase orders
• Other duties as required

We would love if you have

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the Nordic region.
• Strong understanding of Swedish financial regulations and business practices.
• Prior experience of SAP desirable
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
• Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish language
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
