Financial Analyst , Assurant-GCC, India
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with great problem-solving skills to join our Finance team. The Financial Analyst role is an entry level position and will support the Home Solutions and Financial Services regional business by providing monthly/quarterly financial reporting, analysis. Ad hoc requests are common and interaction with multiple departments will be required.
This position will be based in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai at our India location.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
- Monthly research and variance reporting
- Quarterly flux analysis on both income statement and balance sheet
- Review of monthly system feeds for accuracy and trend analysis
- Providing client level reporting as needed
- Reviewing monthly manual journal entries for accuracy
- Ad hoc audit requests
- Compliance with SOX controls
What are the requirements needed for this position?
- CA or equivalent degree with Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related fields
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Must be a self-starter able to work independently
- Minimum of 2 – 4 years of working experience.
