Position Description

Reporting to the Sr. Finance Manager, Consumer Group, this dynamic individual will be responsible for the financial analysis for their assigned business unit.  The Financial Analyst role will be required to interact with and build strong relationships with all areas and levels within the Consumer organization including Sales, Marketing & Operations.

What You Will Do

  • Perform month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and SG&A Forecasting
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing teams to ensure SG&A initiatives are properly accounted for and any variances are addressed
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support business decisions
  • Support Senior Financial Analyst(s) in analysis and delivery of monthly reporting package
  • Own Category SG&A allocations through a robust Activity Based system
  • Work with US AR team to help manage all Canada related deductions and coding
  • Ad Hoc Finance projects as required

What You Will Bring

  • Post-Secondary education in Finance / Accounting or related field
  • One year experience in related field
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel (advanced functions ie. Pivot Tables)
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Oracle, SAP and Business Warehouse is an asset
  • Minimal travel required
