Key Responsibilities (What You're Doing)

  • Review and monitor travel and entertainment (T&E) expenses to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company policies.
  • Analyze T&E and operational spending trends, providing insights and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process optimization.
  • Perform periodic and ad hoc audits of expense activity to support strong financial controls.
  • Support the validation, maintenance, and enhancement of T&E dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and usability for business stakeholders.
  • Maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal documentation while serving as a resource to employees on policy interpretation and compliance.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests, including supporting SOX control activities and annual compliance sign-off processes.
  • Coordinate lease administration activities within Visual Lease by tracking key dates, maintaining documentation, and partnering with internal stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes through automation, AI-enabled solutions, and continuous improvement initiatives while contributing to special projects across accounting, finance, and operations.

Qualifications (What We're Looking For)

  • 0+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field; internships or equivalent experience are welcome.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and communicate actionable insights.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated learner who is eager to take initiative, develop new skills, and grow professionally.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial analysis and reporting tools.
  • Working knowledge of accounting fundamentals, including general ledger activity, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and delivering high-quality work.
  • This is a hybrid role requiring four days per week in our New York City office.

The base salary range for this role is $66,000-$70,000. This position is not eligible for bonus or commission compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
