This role is based in Cleveland, Ohio, and is a hybrid work arrangement - individuals may be required to work some days in the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland while working the other days from home.
Organizational Expectations:
The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland’s Financial Management Department has an exciting opportunity to join its Financial Planning and Analysis team as a Financial Analyst or Financial Analyst Senior. In this role, you will be responsible for providing collaborative and consultative support to multiple stakeholders and lines of business. You will leverage your financial analysis skills to identify and then communicate forward-looking financial insights to Bank stakeholders. You will work with the team to contribute to the Bank’s annual budget and investment planning process and play a part in ensuring alignment of the Bank’s financial plan with the strategic initiatives of the Bank and Federal Reserve System.
General Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate a detailed knowledge of financial planning and analysis and budgeting and forecasting concepts and apply this knowledge through work products.
• Build and maintain trusted partnerships with key stakeholders and maintain thorough operational understanding of assigned business areas.
• Meet business line and leadership needs for understanding their expenses and effectively managing their forecast.
• Work collaboratively with assigned business areas to ensure financial plans are aligned with business priorities and strategic initiatives and monthly forecasts accurately reflect business operations and plans.
• Effectively communicate complex financial planning and budget concepts to non-financial audiences in both written and verbal form.
• Contribute to developing, revising, and updating financial planning-related policies, controls, and procedures.
• May participate in Bank and FRS projects, initiatives, or workgroups.
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
Education and Experience:
• Financial Analyst: Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 years of related experience, or Associate's Degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience
• Financial Analyst Senior: Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience, or Associate's Degree and a minimum of 7 years of related experience
