The Boeing Company is seeking a Financial Analyst (Experienced or Senior) to join the team in Everett, Washington. This is an exciting opportunity to support the high-visibility KC-46 Tanker program.
A successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter who collaborates effectively and builds strong partnerships with key stakeholders. The candidate should demonstrate high attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Position Responsibilities:
- Review Earned Value Management (EVM) data to identify trends and discrepancies in financial performance
- Prepare government contractual cost reporting deliverables (e.g., Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report (IPMDAR), Cost & Software Data Report (CSDR), Contractor Funds Status Report (CFSR))
- Ensure compliance with internal financial polices & external controls under the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as required for U.S. Defense contractors
- Make recommendations to senior management on financial performance projections and assessments using financial and business knowledge and experience
- Build relationships and collaborate across multiple business and financial stakeholders to develop solutions and drive results
- Support the quarterly Estimate at Complete (EAC) process
- Support Estimate to Budget Baselines
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in finance or related roles such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts, Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
- 3+ years of experience with financial forecasting and budget creation
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of related work experience or equivalent
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics and best practices
- Knowledge of the quarterly Estimate at Complete (EAC) process
- Knowledge of DFARS requirements
- Familiarity with financial Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate in a team environment
