As a valued member of the Corporate FP&A team, the Financial Analyst will be a financial subject matter expert on the Corporate expense management processes and consolidated management reporting. The position will be analytically driven, with the objective of providing valuable financial insight to leaders driving decision-making, financial results, and planned earnings impact.
You will
Manage the end-of-the-end financial processes of the Corporate expense management team, including (but not limited to) planning, forecasting, variance analytics and allocations.
Analyze and deliver the 3-year financial plan, incorporating system transitions, staffing, market trends, strategic priorities and implemented projects.
Partner with key stakeholders by providing valuable insight into their monthly financial results, including projected results for the fiscal year. Convey and articulate financial impact of decisions.
Maintain staffing data and corresponding financial impacts, in partnership with department stakeholders and Human Resource business partners. Incorporate outer year impacts including staffing changes, planned retirements and business support into a 3-year financial plan.
Partner with Business Finance leadership to drive transparency into the financial impact of technology expenses.
Drive insights and analytics that provide technology leadership transparency into risks and opportunities of departmental expenses and spending trends, providing recommendations on efficiencies and/or risk mitigation.
Develop financial metrics aligned to value and outcomes.
Partner with Sourcing to effectively capture financial impact of vendor spend and contractual obligations.
Identify and deliver opportunities that enhance processes through automation, offshoring, or elimination.
You have
5-7 years of finance/accounting experience
Strong analytical skills and knowledge of financial analytics
Experience using ERP, Oracle and SmartView a plus but not required.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and work additional hours during peak session.
Strong Excel skills (Macros, V-lookups, etc.)
Willingness to learn and grow on the job.
Ability to make suggestions to management based on analysis.
Location /Travel
Hybrid role - 3 days in the office, 2 days WFH in the Hudson Yards, NYC office.
Salary Range:
$80,940.00 - $132,975.00The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
