As a Financial Analyst, Associate in Global Real Estate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting for our Asia Pacific real estate portfolio. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, providing insights and recommendations that drive strategic decision-making and optimize asset performance. In this role, you will help us deliver value to the business and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain detailed financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses for the Asia Pacific real estate portfolio
- Handle monthly reporting, rolling forecasts, budgeting cycles, and related analysis
- Partner with Global Real Estate functional and country heads to identify expense reduction opportunities and optimize spend
- Track capital expenditure for office strategies such as relocation, consolidation, and renovation, ensuring alignment with forecasts and budgets
- Prepare and present consolidated financial reports for senior management and stakeholders
- Support monthly intercompany billing of real estate expenses allocation to all lines of business in the region, including related reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with line of business teams by providing allocation transparency, analysis, and addressing queries
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators and cost metrics, providing actionable recommendations to support business decisions
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in special projects and initiatives to support the growth and efficiency of the Global Real Estate department
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in financial analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience handling and analyzing large databases
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail and organizational ability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with cross-functional partners
- Recognition of professional qualifications attained from reputable training institutes or professional bodies in Hong Kong
- Adaptive to cultural changes and committed to promoting inclusion
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or similar
- Experience with real estate accounting, tax, and transaction processes
- Experience within the financial services industry
