Position Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, analyze, and provide insightful commentary on monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports for key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Consolidate and analyze financial and non-financial data from various Asia markets to identify trends, variances, and business performance drivers.
  • Partner with Regional Controllers, Finance teams, Actuarial teams, and other stakeholders to support accurate and timely reporting deliverables.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance standard and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and reporting templates using tools such as Anaplan, Power BI, and SmartView.
  • Drive continuous process improvement and automation initiatives to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and overall user experience.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end reporting activities while ensuring timely communication of key updates and issues.
  • Perform peer reviews, maintain documentation, and provide guidance and training to junior team members as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in financial reporting, management reporting, or finance-related functions.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with large and complex datasets.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different markets and cultures.
  • Willing to work on a Day Shift schedule and report onsite in Diliman, Quezon City.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA is an advantage but not required).
  • Experience in the life insurance or financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of IFRS 17 reporting requirements.
  • Experience with reporting and financial systems such as Hyperion Essbase, SmartView, Anaplan, or Power BI.
  • Background in process improvement, automation, or dashboard development.
  • Experience mentoring, reviewing work, or providing guidance to team members.
