IHDS Financial Analysis Manager
Cigna are excited to welcome a Financial Analysis Manager within the International Health Expense Management team. As a financial analysis advisor within the International Health Delivery Services area, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy across the organisation particularly within the Customer; Health & Change functions. Reporting to the IH Expense Senior Manager, you’ll be at the heart of budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis—driving insights that influence strategic decisions across global teams.
You will also act as a senior leader representative for the IH Expense Finance team within our Bengaluru office, providing guidance and support on local initiatives such as HR coordination, performance management, and team engagement. This will be a mix of direct line management and dotted line reporting, this role fosters a strong leadership presence, promoting collaboration, accountability, and alignment with broader team goals.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership: Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, ensuring alignment with global objectives while supporting the development and well-being of team members
Build Financial Models: Design and maintain robust financial models to support strategic planning and influence decision making.
Forecasting & Budgeting: Take the lead role in the IHDS budgeting process throughout the forecast cycle. Collaborate with and influence global controllers to provide consolidated budget/forecast for IHDS Senior Leadership team.
Deliver Insightful Analysis: Provide expert insights, support and direction to senior business teams. Track performance metrics, analyse variances, and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
Create Executive-Level Reports: Prepare monthly (MOR), quarterly, and annual reports for Functional Senior Leaders and the IH Expense Senior Manager.
Partner Across Teams: Collaborate with cost centre owners and regional finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and effective forecasting.
Drive Cost Efficiency: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiencies.
Support Leadership Presentations: Contribute to executive-level presentation materials.
Champion Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry best practices and foster a culture of learning and innovation.
Adhoc: Support the IH Expense Senior Manager and wider finance teams with ad-hoc reporting requests and project support.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or related (Master’s or professional certification like ACCA, CFA, CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis or a related field
- Demonstrated strong leadership and influencing skills (essential)
- Collaborative team player
- Strategic agility, influence management, analytical skills and matrix management skills.
- Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management.
- Financial modelling and forecasting skills
- Proficiency in Excel (VBA, Power BI, Power query, preferred)
- Highly motivated and driven professional, able to manage multiple high priority projects simultaneously
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and complex structures
- Critical thinker who drives efficiency and continuous improvement
- Knowledge of UK GAAP and/or US GAAP (preferred)
