We’re looking for a talented Financial Accountant to join our team at Expo Centric. This role is ideal for someone with 4–5 years of accounting experience who is ready to take ownership of financial processes, maintain accurate financial records, and support both AU and PH finance teams in delivering timely and reliable reporting.

🔍 What You’ll Do

Financial Accounting & Month-End Support

  • Prepare and post journals, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Support month-end close to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Assist in preparing management accounts.
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure correct coding.

Reconciliations & Reporting

  • Manage bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations.
  • Maintain documentation and audit trails.
  • Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules.

Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable & Cash Flow

  • Review AP/AR transactions for accuracy.
  • Support weekly cashflow reviews and escalate anomalies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams regarding outstanding payments.

Compliance & Statutory Support

  • Assist with BAS, GST, PAYG, and statutory filings.
  • Coordinate with external accountants and maintain compliance documentation.

Intercompany, Fixed Assets & Inventory

  • Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers.
  • Support inventory-related reconciliations.

Systems, Controls & Process Improvement

  • Use Xero, AroFlo, Cin7, and related systems to maintain clean financial data.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and reporting.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with operations, warehouse, design, and project teams to ensure accurate financial information flow.
  • Communicate clearly with both AU and PH teams.

✅ What You Bring

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
  • 4–5 years of accounting or financial reporting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (AASB/IFRS).
  • Proficiency with Xero and strong Excel skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical thinking and willingness to learn.

Nice to Have

  • Progress toward CPA or CA qualification.
  • Experience in project-based or multi‑entity environments.
  • Exposure to AroFlo, Cin7, Power BI.
  • Strong system competency (Xero, Excel, Outlook).
