We are looking for a talented Financial Accountant to join our team specializing in Finance for Cummins in Czech Republic, Cestlice. This position offers a hybrid work schedule: 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, reports and statements
- Manage interactions with external auditors and external tax provider
- Collaborate with Cummins Shared service centre and Central finance teams
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits
- Primary point of contact for tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Monitor invoices, expenses and payments processing
- Manage accounts payable and receivable queries
- Support management with ad-hoc financial tasks and reports
- Prepare and post entries during month end close
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and relevant regulations
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Czech and English professional level
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and local financial regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education/ Experience:
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
- 3-5 years’ experience in Accounting/Finance
