Amentum is seeking an HR Associate for the Bluegrass Chemical Agent Destruction Pilot Plant project located in Richmond, Kentucky.

Typical Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform accounting duties of limited scope and complexitiy requiring professional knowledge of accounting theory and principles.
  • Under general supervision, provide support to more experienced personnel by performing routine accounting assignments, moderately difficult in nature, requiring broad knowledge of accounting theory and principles.
  • Position has degree of accountability and responsibility.
  • May provide financial support including forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing variations from budget.
  • Responsible for support and follow existing accounting policies and controls, fiscal controls and preparing financial reports.
  • Compliance with existing accounting policies and procedures including cost accounting, general accounting, and accounts payable and receivable.
  • Display knowledge and ability to apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related and unrelated accounting tasks, including the ability to design and implement changes in accounting procedures as needed.
  • Apply sound professional judgment and independent thought on details of work.
  • Reconcile account reconciliations monthly.
  • Prepare long term cash forecasts.
  • May provide liaison services between site personnel and company administration in respect to project accounting.
  • May review and endorses vendor and subcontractor invoices for payment
  • Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment and overall accuracy.
  • May prepare and monitors schedules of billing statements for Client
  • May prepare balance sheet financial analysis for accounts receivable and unbilled receivables
  • May perform contract change order contract value and funding reconciliation and analysis
  • Provide monthly non-billable analysis
  • Intercompany funding tracking and reconciliation
  • Perform fixed fee reconciliation and analysis
  • Write and maintain procedures as needed.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field and 8 years’ experience

Or

  • Associate degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field and 12 years’ experience

Or

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 16 years’ related experience

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a United States or naturalized citizen able to obtain and maintain Blue Grass Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant (BGCAPP) site access
  • Must be computer literate in common software applications and able to operate general office equipment
  • Must maintain fitness-for-duty standards to perform the essential functions of the position, to include any depot or BGCAPP drill, contingency and/or emergency requirement
  • Proficient in one or more areas of accounting (account reconciliation, billing, accounts payable, general accounting)
  • Able to deal with multiple tasks and assignments
  • Able to update accounting procedures as directed

SURETY

This position is designated as a chemical duty position and is subject to the requirements of the Chemical Personnel Reliability Program (CPRP). As a condition of employment, candidates and incumbents must favorably complete a personnel security investigation, urinalysis testing, medical exam and respiratory screening, and must meet and maintain personnel suitability and reliability requirements established by Army Regulation 50-6. Chemical duties for this position are:

Require routine access to chemical surety materials.

Are authorized to escort visitors to areas containing chemical surety materials.

Control direct access to chemical surety material.

Issue proximity cards, personal identification numbers (PINs), keys, combinations, biometric codes, or any other mechanism that provides direct access to chemical surety material.

Are motor vehicle/material handling equipment operators involved in movement of chemical agents.

Are operators of equipment that disassembles chemical munitions/containers or handle chemical surety materials during demilitarization operations.

This position is designated as an unescorted access position and is subject to the requirements of the Unescorted Access Program (UAP). As a condition of employment, candidates and incumbents must favorably complete a personnel security investigation, urinalysis testing, respiratory screening, and must meet and maintain personnel suitability and reliability requirements established by the Blue Grass Army Depot Commander.

BGCAPP is subject to Army Regulations (AR50-6 Chemical Surety Program and AR190-59 Unescorted Access Program) with govern persons performing work under the Chemical Personnel Reliability Program (CPRP) and unescorted Access Program (UAP). Eligibility to be placed in a CPRP or UAP position requires US citizenship. Employees must favorably complete a series of screenings to include but not limited to: a National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) security investigation, drug/alcohol testing and medical examination.

All employees are subject to and agree to random drug and alcohol testing as a condition of continued employment for the duration of their assignment. Respiratory screening and the ability to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) may be required for this position. The ability to obtain/maintain access to the Blue Grass Army Depot is required.
